Beat the Bots is fighting for what fans really want: fair access and real choices in live event ticketing. Right now, the Ticketmaster–Live Nation monopoly locks out fans, drives up prices, and shuts down competition. We’re taking on a broken system – and building something better in its place.
Ticketmaster is lobbying for policies that have already backfired in places like Ireland & France – where fans are left to buy tickets on an unregulated, black market with no protections. It’s the digital version of scalping tickets on the street corner. No one wants to go back to a system that leaves fans unprotected and out of luck.
Price caps are not consumer protection – they're Ticketmaster protection. They fuel fraud, not fairness. Meanwhile, Ticketmaster wants to distract you from the real problem: they ignore bots snapping up tickets before fans even get a chance.

Fairness
Everyone should have a shot at seeing their favorite show and shouldn’t have to compete against bad actors using bots. It’s time to stop bots and backroom deals.
Transparency
Fans deserve to know how many tickets are really available to those who don’t have a fancy credit card to access a pre-sale on Ticketmaster. When only 46% of tickets go on sale to the public, fans don’t have a fair shot. The other 54%? Held for VIPs, presales, or exclusive insiders.
Consumer Protection
Fans shouldn’t be fooled by spoof websites claiming to be something they are not. Shut down fake ticket websites that confuse fans.
Competition
One company shouldn’t control the whole system. More options = lower prices, more innovation, better deals for fans.
